DO NOT LIVE HERE!
I moved into the Dublin trail community in May of 2002.They were brand new apartments with unique floor plans and ammenities such as a nice health center and swimming pool that made it look like a good place to live.

WRONG!

Since then I have had countless infuriating encounters with the maintenance and management teams. When you ask a question it is rare that one gets a reasonable or even remotely intelligent answer. The management staff is quite friendly until you sign your lease after which point they give you the impression they don't even have the time to say "go to hell" let alone share a friendly smile.

The maintenance services are lacking at best assuming they show up to fix whatever your issue is within a year.

Simple things such as snow removal are non-existant.On the rare occasion they do plow the snow or shovel the walkways, it is a half-hearted effort at best. They will likely create more of a snow & ice hazard than if they had just left it alone to let the sun melt it away.If you call to complain about snow removal, they will offer to let you join the snow removal team - no thanks, isn't that one of the few benefits of living in an apartment in that you don't have to shovel your walk'

Summertime is no better.Yes, they will mow the lawn, but all that really does is 1) fling one of the multiple piles of dog feces that other inconsiderate tenants have left behind on to your patio OR 2) plaster your freshly washed patio doors with grass and dirt (and probably dog feces) so you can wash them again.I love washing windows, don't you'

Back to the management. You will likely encounter office personnel that does not understand the legal terms used in the very leases they issue. They will also change the terms of your lease half-way through it and screw you out of as much money as possible with little explanation and no recourse for you other than complaining about it and wanting to get out as soon as possible. If they don't intentionally change the terms of your lease to screw you out of your money, they will do it by default because they can't keep track of the underground parking spaces and they end up leasing the same spot to multiple people and you get to race home each night so you can acually use the parking spot you are paying an additional $40 per month for. Sweet.

Let's not forget about all the stupid rules that they try to impose on tenants as well.My favorite in the multi-unit complexes is "No laundry between 8:00 AM & 10:00 PM".A real pisser if you happen to work swing shifts and get home at 2 in the morning and your time to do house work happens to be during those hours.

Also, upon moving out you will be charged for the dents in your carpet cause by your furniture sitting in one place.I understand being charge for stains, but dents in the carpet'Give me a break.I guess I will need to be first in line for gravity-defying furniture to prevent the dents to avoid these charges in the future. Oh yeah, you can't move out during the winter due to a stupid winter clause.

If you have read this far and are sensing hostility, you are 100% correct. There are hundreds of apartments for rent in Neenah/Menasha/Appleton.Do yourself a favor and live somewhere else, anywhere else for that matter. If at all possible, buy a house. You'll be much more satisfied with the value you get VS renting; especially from these yahoo's.

This review is totally off the mark. I have lived in this community for over a year. The office staff is very helpful to all of my requests. Usually completing things within 24hours. I have never had a problem with snowplowing or shoveling. As for no laundry between 8am to 10pm I have never heard such a stupid statement. This is my home and I am happy to live here and appreciate all the services and features of my community. My neighbors are wonderful and my apartment was beautiful when I moved in! I disagree with this 100%. When giving such statements why is a name not included? Someone with a bad attitude always ruins things for everyone else!

I just moved out of these apartments and am happier than heck to be out. The staff, except Joe, is not friendly. Noone cares about you AFTER you sign the lease. The snow plowing stinks, the staff does NOT deal with complaints AT ALL. Sorry but I have to agree with the original poster..although I, myself, have not heard of the no laundry thing. Quiet hours, yes, but "no laundry"..no.

I completely agree with the original statement as well. I never had the "pleasure" of renting here, but have heard terrible things from friends who have. The worst is management. No one cares after they have their money. They claim you have to understand that they are busy, right? But to be flippant, like you, one of thier tenants doesn't even matter to them. Better off going somewhere else.

While my experience at Dublin Trail haven't been as bad as the original, they have been far from perfect. The knowledge and approachability from the staff have been extremely rude! The laundry rule (Ashford Place) is correct except the hours that you can't do laundry is from 10PM-8AM, The laundry has it's own room, but they say it causes too much noise. The door locks to the main building are constantly jammed so it takes just the right touch to get in. While the facilities look nice, it hasn't been as wonderful as I hoped!
