They'll tell you it's the bad renters who leave the complaints.....

Before I moved in, I read all these reviews and was concerned. The apartments were very nice, although expensive, but I thought I better check out some of these complaints. I asked the manager, of course she said it's the deadbeat renters who are slobs and don't pay that are the ones complaining. I believed that could be. Then I asked a couple current renters that were walking around the area, they were happy with living there. So I moved in. The first night the people above me, a young couple with 2 large "puppies" partying until 3:00 in the morning, throwing cigerette butts down on my patio, yelling, stomping, it was horrible. I didn't want to complain, other neighbors heard it too, some complained. Warnings are given, but nothing is done about it....it's the same thing nearly every weekend. And weeknights are the dogs running and playing and knocking things over...sounded like elephants! They stomped up the stairway, of which there must be no insulation in the wall and it's right next to my livingroom! Finally I talked to them, they were very snotty and said it's an apartment complex, get used to it! So I put in complaints at the office, hating to do it, but had no choice, I needed to get some sleep. Again, warnings were given, nothing changed....except their attitude. They became very snotty and pounded on my door to chew me out. When their lease was up, they moved out, then had a couple months of peace and quiet, but by then I had made up my mind to put in my notice. Dogs are allowed as long as you pay more, but they are not allowed to be tied outside even for a little while, a duplex much better fits the needs...dogs like to spend time outside and with busy work schedules, can't always be walking them as much as I'd like. SO...MOVE OUT TIME! THE REVIEWS WERE RIGHT. You do NOT get your security deposit back no matter how clean you are. The carpet gets dirty (not from the dog), but supposedly from soap residue that collects dust and foot oils, etc....even taking shoes off........so they want to rip out the carpet and charge me for it! I told them I'd be getting another opinion on that and the carpet cleaners were able to clean it, and they were fine with it. So THEN, they said the blinds weren't working right and would need to be replaced. There was nothing wrong with the blinds. I took pictures in all different positions for proof should I need to go to small claims.....once I told them I took pictures, it was fine. They were fine. Seems people who said they will try to blame dog owners for anything possible in order to try to get new carpet and blinds after they leave, some people will fall for it and that's how they keep it new with no expenses.
Thought I had it SO clean...washed walls, under appliances, woodwork, etc. They said I needed to wipe under the cabinets...not the floor boards which were done, but the bottom side of the cabinet...I never would have thought that, but they did allow me to go in and make the minute cleanings that I missed. It cannot just be clean, they do not do 'routine cleaning' in between apartments for normal wear and tear....they CHARGE you for all the time they spend in it...they hire other renters to clean in order to be able to get discounts off their rent, as they hire renters to remove snow....there were cars totally 100% BURIED in the snow this winter! It's the renters responsibility to get it out of the snow...many people very upset! That's why I chose to try an apartment, to get the snow removal.....it's easier shoveling a driveway than shoveling your car out of a snowbank after the plows totally cover the car in snow. Office ladies are generally very nice, but it's the way they have to run the complex per Premier who of course, you can't get in touch with. Ask anyone who has moved out......after they find out that not only dont they get their security deposit back, but they also get billed extra...no matter how good you clean. If there is a streak on the window, you'll be charged.
VERY EXPENSIVE place.....would think it would be peaceful, enjoyable living, but it was extremely stressful, as it's very hard to get any sleep unless you are deaf.

I totally understand your frustration, and can guarantee not all of the Premier properties operate this way. Don't let them snow you!! That property is run more by the property manager and area manager then Premier in Brookfield. I found that out shortly after I moved out. The area manager considers Dublin an excellent property!! The complaints made to Brookfield are routed to the her.ffice. She ignors them and says its bad renters instead stating the obvious which is bad management. How funny that HUD housing properties a.k.a. Section 8 in Milwaukee and Madison get a higher rating then Dublin!!

I know the office staff say it's only bad renters who make complaints, but I have always paid my rent on time and clean very regularly (I would be no means say I am a slob), I work a 9-5 type job (which means no late parties and late noise) and I still have the SAME problems! Just think of how snotty the office staff will be to you once you have a complaint.
