First off don't ever rent with Bell Property Management. I lived in the Ridge Manor first in Hales Corners. After finding out about the drug scandals and domestic cases (which one night had me out of my apartment until 4am due to a couple fighting and a gun being in the apartment). So I requested a move, I didn't feel safe. They were kind enough to move me to Carriage Way in New Berlin. Fine, it was a bigger apartment and they took some money off the rent from the inconvinence. But even after the discount, the neighbors who lived above us were paying less for the EXACT same apartment. Through our times as tenants, we had been shot at through our patio window by a bebe gun. (so you know this place is really safe.) then it took them 2 months for them to replace the window. When they came to replace it, FINALLY they gave us a dirty spotty window.
This apartments walls are way too thin, you can hear people running down the hallways, the stairs, yelling and screaming. We were told by the management no dogs or cats. A month before we moved out, there was a rottwieler living two doors down. Plus it would go to the bathroom in our front yard. I would understand if it were a seeing eye dog, but it wasn't. When we moved out, we spent 8 hours cleaning. They inspected the apartment and were going to charge $80 because the dirty window they installed was still dirty. This company is just after money. Never ever live there, unless you want a very bad experience. We now live in a much better place, and neighborhood. If you want to live in a complex with a non caring landlord, go ahead. But I wouldn't recomended it at all.
