Freezing!

I made the mistake of moving in over the summer because had I known my apartment would be this cold during the winter, I never would've bothered.
I can feel cold air coming through everywhere! I've called the office a few times, and everytime I do the manager isn't in.
I'm getting frustrated and colder every day.
What worries me the most is my neighbor told me that pipes freezing and bursting is a regular occurance around here and suggested I invest in a space heater.
I have never had to worry about such a thing before and don't think I want to take the chance every year.
It's a nice apartment but don't like the fact it's impossible to communicate with management and I'm experiencing frigid temperatures indoors!

I said something to the office about the waterfall thing and the comment. It made sense to me to say something to the office and I am happy I did because I found out that the maintenance guys that live at Stonegate are paid extra to close the pool at night and clean it up in the morning. I'm guessing that they talked to them about it because I was at the pool last night and the waterfall was on until I left late. I figured when I read this that something was a little off because they are normally very prompt when you ask them to fix something. Thanks guys - we appreciate the waterfall and we appreciate your very prompt attention!

It's a bit strange that the previous review on here that goes along with the anonymous response makes no sense what so ever, and the context above seemed to be rewritten by someone with an adgenda. Since the previous orginal message stated that they disagreed with any bad comments that were recently left, this new one is nothing more then bizzare.

I've lived here long enough to know that like any where else this place has its ups and downs. But I don't agree that it is hard to get a hold of the office, my god they have 3 numbers to call, and after-hours emergency line and an 1800 number, and of coarse email too. If I ever had a problem I recommend emailing or calling directly to whomever I need to speak with - the problem is taken care pretty quickly then. Sorry youÂ?re having trouble.

I can see how this can be confusing because the response on here was related to my review from the summer. My neighbor wrote the "freezing" comment from my computer. I told him about this website the other night when he was over and he immediately wrote something and used my login. This website apparantly eliminates what you write shall you write something new. Good thing I received an email saying a response was written otherwise we wouldn't have known. We have the right to give our opinions of where we live whether good or bad so it is not appropriate to argue making people have to defend themselves like I have seen previously, and am actually doing now. It is not mature. Lastly, my friend (as well as I) dis not have difficulty reaching the office. He was very frustrated because the manager was never in when he called. Now that it has been explained I hope this will be the last time I need to write anything on here.
