The Highlands

I love it here, it is Dog friendly, child friendly, and senior citizen friendly, single friendly, and young married couple friendly, it is a diverse community of all types of people, and we all live in comfort in a secure, and private yet warm atmosphere. I first moved in about 6 years ago because I wanted a quiet place to live with my beloved dog. I do not have young children, but notice that the parents here take wonderful care of their kids, and watch them well as they play on nice days in the court yard. I say court yard, but the center area is actually as large is a clean city park, and even has picnic tables, a built in grill, and volley ball in the summer. One thing that stands out to me is the sound proofing. It is very well built, and makes it easy living with neighbors. Snow removal in winter is very good, trash pick-up and recycling are easy as you just put your 'cans' outside your garage door for pick-up. It is just a nice, clean, and well built complex, and the units are 'condo style' with private attached garages, and all appliances including washer and dryer in your unit. Add a pool, work-out room, and fine management, and you have 'The Highlands of New Berlin'. I just resigned my lease, oh, and I should mention, they professionally clean my carpets each year I resign :)
