I lived at Woodridge for 4 years, they had 6 managers in that time. The last manager was the only one to get things accomplished and she had to pull the owners teeth to get anything done. Maintenance staff was iffy at best, most didn't have a clue to what they were doing, that is if you could get them to show up to do anything. Budget was always the key factor it seems Wimmer Bros didn't allow for a great budget, but they have the money to build additions to their multi million dollar properties, buy a hotel and plan to do 1.5 million in renovations, but hey they couldn't fork out the cash to fix a garage door, that took over a year to get repaired.

Over all the complex is in a nice neighborhood, grade school across the street, there were some snot nosed kids who were not well behaved, but blame the parents for that problem, if you were to see any parents over seeing their kids. My last year there I noticed more trailer trash types moving in and not keeping their part of the yards clean and problem causers, but as long as the mgmt was getting their money, they didn't seem to mind who they were letting in. The places were not cheap, starting at $875 well to over $1050 for 3 bedroom townhome.

I had alot of issues in my 4 years there, and no one seemed to care about them, and the owners "Wimmer Bros" were the ones who didn't give a damn one way or the other. Like I said as long as they get rent that was all they cared about. They are one of the largest owners of rental properties in SE WI but too bad they don't take care of most of them, only the really expensive ones get taken care of for awhile.

The last manger did what she could to get things done for me, but the owners did little to help, if a manager cost they money eventually that manager disappears. My major complaint is not on the managers end, it lies with the owners, and I have documentation to back up everything I have said. No need for detail they know what they did and didn't do, but I can prove it all, too bad with so many manager changes alot of the paperwork got tossed between them becuase the managers just wanted to cover their own asses so they got rid of incriminating paperwork, I didn't.

Again can't tell not to move there, relatively safe neighborhood, some nosey neighbors, some trailer trash neighbors and those aren't hard to spot. The choice is yours, then when you move out you can tell of your experience renting from Wimmer Bros.
