The place looks nice inside and out. So far as I can tell from the people I've met there's a blend of single professionals, retirees, and other generally responsible people who live here. I see a neighbor an average of once a month, though I don't really spend much time in common areas. The underground parking is a godsend in winter.

I don't do pets, so I was weary of living in a pet friendly building, but so far as I can tell not everyone around exercises the option. Geese and other birds visit the the ponds on the property when it's warm. They are fun to watch but leave droppings so just watch your step getting mail in the spring/fall.

I've had two maintenance issues, both minor wear-and-tear issues, that were taken care of promptly (within 48 hours) and professionally (they left a card with the start time, the diagnosed problem, the fix, and a phone number for questions or comments). I did have an issue getting a phone call returned (took two days) for some paperwork, but it could be worse.

They seem to have cut several corners in construction, including cheap doors and trim, half-assed drywall work in the bathrooms, "thin" walls that allow you to hear neighbors plumbing and appliances, and I can hear my upstairs neighbor walk around. But I've lived in many places that were far less private than here. Your experience, I suppose, would depend on your neighbors. My upstairs neighbor is rarely home so far as I can tell, and haven't heard anything through the walls on the other sides.

As of spring 2008 they are building additional buildings on the property, so the construction traffic and noises have been minimally frustrating but by no means make me regret being here. And so far as I can tell more construction will be planned in the future.

Over all, the amenities are nice, the place is good looking, the construction may be kind of cheap, but to me it's a nice place to live. While it is a little expensive, it seems to be worth it for me.
