I have lived in The Gables Community for over 2 and a half years now and I absolutly adore it! I will start off by saying the cost of these apartments are unbeatable compared to local competitors (we pay less than 0.70 per square foot), The units are condo style rather than normal plain apartment style, The formatting of the rooms are unique, they are split style apartments so your bedroom is not right on top of whomever else you may be living with, with one room on each side of the unit, and all units have private entrances with a one car attached garage with many other options to choose from including a tri-level townhouse.
Now second of all I would like to go on and tell you about the Community itself. The Gables is a very safe and secure community, the ammenities are wonderful with a 24 hour fitness center with very nice equiptment that has been replaced regulary (since I have lived here), a pool which is open from memorial day to labor day (this year it was open longer because of the beautiful weather)and the nicest part about it is they heat the pool to 90 degrees-where have you ever lived that says they do that and actually did it' no where I ever lived I will tell you that! Anyways, there is a playground for the children, a sand volleyball court that is huge and so nice for when we had rented out the clubhouse/"partyroom" and had all of our friends and family over!(To rent the clubhouse it is only $75 and all of the amentites are included as well as inside the clubhouse which has bathrooms, a water fountain and a small kitchenette). Again I really LOVE it here! My husband and I have kids and it feels so good to not have to be at there side every second because we feel secure to let them play outside and watch them from the window since our apartment is right on the park!
Now last for the employees, The maitence men are all so nice and really do care about making you happy and haveing things fixed in a very quick time turn around! Usually if something does go wrong or break maitence will be over within the day you call if not within a few hours (unless its an emergency then I would say give them 3 minutes or so). As for the office ladies they are so nice! They always let me come in and send faxes and make copies and it always smells like yummy cookies in there (those cookies are really good!) and Flora, she is the cleaning lady, she is so nice too!Always smiling and happy to do her job!
All in all I think I will be here for quite a while longer, heck I have a neighbor who has been here for 14 years and another one who has been here for 11- The only way I would leave here is if My husband had a job transfer or if we decided to purchase a house but why would I when I have all of THIS'''!!!

Who can believe you? It is 200 prepaid to rent the club house. To keep it in the same condition. Money returns back to you.
