We first moved in on June 1st 2008. The doors were scratched and flood damaged and there was caulking that was needed to be done, which they made us aware of. Still it is a year after we moved in and they have done nothing to fix the caulking, and did not change the doors. One of the doors is splintering due to the flood damage.
About 2 weeks after we moved in the weather took a turn for the worse and our kitchen started flooding as they stated in the past. The reason for the flooding was that the drain at our kitchen entrance was clogged. When we called maintenance they said there was nothing that they could do until it stopped raining. I was thinking to myself, "Wow, they should be able to run a drain snake through, or call Roto-Rooter." They also told me later that they knew that flooding was a problem, especially for my apartment building. Also pools of water started forming in our ceiling due to carpeting being ripped out of the deck above ours. Needless to say they had to tear out the ceiling and replace it, but the problem was about 3-4 weeks later we noticed the wall in the bathroom was starting to bubble and leak, so they had to come in again for that. It was obvious that there was probable mold in the wall but they did nothing about it and brushed it off when we brought it up.
Another problem we have been experiencing since we moved in is constant insect invasion. We have seen large infestations of ants, and there have also been many centipedes.
