The appearance of these apartments is very nice; any big windows, nice oak cabinets, huge bathrooms, huge closets, nice open feel. Even though I love how this apartment looks I would never move back because of the paper thin walls, ceiling/floor. I have literally heard the person next door yawn in the morning. Hearing people talking, music, doors, and walking is very normal whether above, below or next to you. If you have an end unit then you will be hearing the doors of the stairwell slamming shut all hours of the day and night. When people are walking in the hallways if can feel like they are pounding, this includes the hallway to your floor and any floors above you. This also happens with the stairway. It is a real shame that they made these building with such cheep construction because the layout itself is very nice. The cloths washers I must say did not clean well. I never felt our cloths ever got really clean while we lived here. The whole wash cycle was so short, between 20-25 minutes, that the cloths did not spend much time in the soap/wash cycle that I often put in more money to wash them again. This really irritated me. My last load of laundry I took to my friends apartment, honestly the whole wash cycle was much longer and the cloths were clean. I have never noticed this at any other apartment, but it was apparent that these were really cheep washers at Riverwood. Some of the residents here are younger, with loud music, some drunk behavior outside at night, some offensive writing on the property (doors, sidewalk), this is a shame. Maintenance always takes care of whatever pollution these people have done to the property. I also have gone out to erase things from the side walk and elevator. I felt that the children that live here did not need to see the graphic additions that someone had made to their sidewalk chalk artwork, or the demeaning terms written in the elevator. I personally have not had any problems with the management or maintenance staff. They have always been very kind, helpful and capable. Whenever I needed anything attended to the were efficient.
