I lived at Wood Creek for 11 years (great compared to here) when I decided to move into the new Ventana Apts. The apts are very nice, but with them being brand new: 1) Furnace didn't work 2) Had to come 3 times before fireplace worked 3)Utilities were mixed up so everyone on South side of building paid everyone on the North side and took several months to get fixed once was discovered 4)Was told landscaping would be done and sidewalks put in last spring - still waiting 5)Was told no building was going to be put in from of where I am located - today was told this was going to be a clubhouse and pool and wouldn't be done til next spring. Kitchen light went out and took them a week to replace on the high ceiling. Nothing is taken care of timely and they lie to you to get you in. You can barely hang anything on the walls as it is considered 'damage'. Have to pay a deposit to clean the apt before you move in and after you sign the lease there is a huge list of 'don't you dare do this'. Poor construction with taping coming off in apt that is 10 months old. Caution should be taken in listening to what you are told as it isn't necessarily the truth. I am considering moving out in Fall when my lease is up as there is nothing but mud and a train about 10x a day and it is really loud...the noise abatement wall is not up yet either. If planes are using southbound runways you can't hear if they are flying over and sounds like they will land on your roof. If you like living in mud, have to go through the garage for everything as there is no sidewalk and have dirt everywhere and on everything this is the place for you...no thank you!
