We are in the second year. Moved in the first year, was ok, kitchen was not painted when we moved in, not a terribly huge deal. Yes I asked repeatedly to get it painted as soon as I noticed and it has never been acknowledged. There were holes in the walls from pictures in the master suite so that wasn't painted either also not a huge deal to us. We got the run around as to what date we could pick up the keys, shouldn't be that hard, if we signed the lease 2 months before move in they had two months to determine a move in date for us. Whenever I ask ANYTHING of the dippy Jennifer Manager in the office I get a breathy no and a look like I am crazy, my husband will go in and ask the same thing and whatever it is is given to him, (a 2nd garage door opener for example). She is rubbing off on Laura apparently since Laura was nice and helpful and is not anymore.
Parking since they put in the new garbage bins is a pain we lost 2 spots by us, so when the idiots next door decide to park 2 cars in the driveway (and leave their garage standing empty) it blocks me from getting in the garage I have nowhere to park and must play musical cars. My husband and I found a way for me to get into the garage without a. having to wake him up to move his car (he works nights) and b. not affect anyone else's parking situation. And for all of you who say suck it up and move the cars bite me I pay over $1000 a month for this place. Think about coming home after an 8 hour work day 2-3 hours at night school, then having to screw around and move cars when we had a system going, where we didn't bother anyone or get in anyone's way. Our system should work because you can only have one car parked outside your garage. Well that was until they started allowing this for $25 a month you can park 2 cars outside (which by the way these neighbors do not do). This was not the case when we moved in, it was one car in the garage and one car outside.
The additional dumpsters that were put in-good idea in theory. We have a nice view of them from our bedroom and kitchen, I am glad we won't be here next summer because I could not stand having to keep the windows closed due to the smell. Nothing smells as good as hot garbage on a hot summer day. Oh and the swans are pretty and the babies cute until they start crapping all over your sidewalk and driveway and parking their butts outside your door so you get hissed at and threatened by a flipping swan and we live nowhere near the pond.
There is a general consenus around here that Rob is very very odd and I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. Our lease is up in 7 months, that at least gives us time to find a house, I can't wait to rid myself of the dippy office broads and Springbrook Cercle. I think if I wasn't paying over $1000 for rent I wouldn't be so harsh but with that kind of rent coming in hire someone with people skills and experience managing an apartment complex. Rob's wife has occasionally been in the office and I would MUCH rather talk to her than the other 2.

I agree and understand everything you have said!!! I lived in Springbrook not too long ago and they completely suck!! And as for those fricken swans....grrr...as they were trying to attack my cat threw the patio screen they put several holes in it; which by the way I had to replace the screen when I left. Watch out when you leave because they will charge you for everything, even the crap you marked down on that checklist as a problem when you moved in. UGH...they were terrible in the customer service dept, its like they expect you to kiss their a**. When HELLO!! we are their customers!!
