Tanglewood was one of the few places that had a dishwasher,washer/dryer and central air/heat in which I could call "affordable". In the past 2 years, however 1B rent went from $535 to $675. This was disappointing. Overall, outside of a few loud neighbors, doors slamming, thin walls and minor inconveniences (fire alarms, speeding cars in the parking lots, management refusal to accept packages and understandable maintenance issues)I liked it. The view (until the construction took down 1/2 the woods) was great; I had a bird feeder on my balcony and would get gold finches, woodpeckers and such. The only other thing to mention is that closets are backwards (meaning you have to hang your clothes hangers from the opposite end)With that, I unfortunately, have to leave, due to the fact that I can no longer afford Tanglewood as they are raising rent, once again. Other than that, I plead to the rest of the apartment complexes in Milwaukee area to get on the ball and get some of the same amenities. How is it in the 21st century, some apartment complexes still have window fans and don't have dishwashers.
