I have lived here for over 8 years and it has progressively become worse. The parking situation is a nightmare. Management used to have rules governing number of vehicles, now several residents have upto 2 or 3 extra vehicles that they park, though in the back of the lot, and it compounds problems. Visitors don't have spaces to park in, so they take up prime spots that normally would go to tenants, who pay rent. I have complained to management and they have said "we will check into it." or they have given me the Costansa defense - "there isn't anything in the lease." Yet, according to their own lease, they can make rules governing common areas and under Wisconsin law, they can make rules, just need to give 30 days notice to all tenants of the change. Moving a vehicle from parking spot to parking spot to allow maintenance to remove snow does not count as driving the vehicle in my book, it counts as storage, which is a violation of the lease. The floors creek, if you live in a garden unit or second floor unit, forget about hearing your television if someone above is walking around. You might as well live in a drum. Also, if your fellow tenant is not the greatest person (i.e. jerkstore), you have problems. It seems management has no real interest in keeping long term tenants, solving problems that benefit the vast majority or even properly screening tenants. The amenities are no longer going to keep me. I can deal with laundry in other ways and I can deal without central air and heat if need be. Once my lease is up. I am gone. It was a nice place when I first started renting and it could still be, I will not stick around though.

If you are not getting a response on your issues from the office, why dont you contact their corp office? Parking is not that bad. You live with hundreds of other people, which I would assume drive cars. Also I live in a 2 bedroom deluxe and I hear my upstairs neighbor walking. Again you live in an apartment. Every apartment complex you live in you will hear people walking. You share walls with your neighbors. I would suggest if you are that unhappy, you buy a house. After eight yrs in an apartment and you arent used to people walking above you? Seriously. I cant imagine living in any aprtments and them being sound proof. Where else can you find heat, washer/dryer and nice apartments? I think its time for Tanglewood to be your former residence. Go complain somewhere else:)

I live across the street in Oak Shores, but I have to say that it is extremely uncalled for for you to say that it is a three story trailer park with trash in it. If you ask me you are pretty trashy yourself for insulting people who have nothing to do with your issues with the management. I recommend you move out of Oak Creek all together, we don't need people like you living in this community.

Typical, blame the person trying to effect change. I point out rule violations and lease violations to the management and corporate staff - THEY DO NOTHING! All of those rules are violated by fellow tenants, who seem not to care. Funny how someone who lives in Tanglewood and another who lives in Oak Shores responded. They are both owned by the same company. And Oak Shores has less of a rating than Tanglewood. Seems to me that the respondents are shills for the management or owners and are too afraid to post under a name. Hard to take an anonymous response seriously.

I live in NYC with possibly 8 million other people and we all get along better than the tenants and management of tanglewood. Personally I will be moving near tanglewood in a few months to take a job. After reading all the horrible reviews about tanglewood I have decided to support the tenant reviews and not move to tanglewood. Thank You angry tenants for getting the word out : )
