I lived in this box of an apartment for two years and moved out almost one year ago. The walls are paper thin, so don't plan on entertaining more than one quiet guest. The internet that they include in rent was unreliable (completely out for more than a month twice in two years). There is enough parking for the complex, however the shape of the parking makes one wonder why they don't use a numbering system. Gigantic dumpster at the entrance of the complex is an eye sore, and if you hear dripping in the walls, expect mold before you have the problem fixed by management.
The worst part about our experience was move out. We asked they wait for us to be there during inspection, however did not honor that request and painted and shampooed carpets while we were out of town for the weekend. Then they charged outrageous charges for cleaning, when the apartment had no damage, and all painting/carpet is not chargeable under WI law. We are settling by contesting the civil suit they arranged to pay them $150 per person to move out vs. owing more than $350 per person (this is after using our deposit to reduce the bill).
If you are reading this you are already making a huge stride towards avoiding these type of landlords/properties, but not researching was a huge mistake!
