Oh where to begin' There's so much wrong here...
On the surface the complex seems nice enough. Interesting apartment layouts, a fitness center, a pool (although the pool can only be used 4 months a year because it's outside and this is Wisconsin), a safe and clean neighborhood with a good supermarket within walking distance. BUT, once you move in you begin to notice the "quirks" that make living here an annoying experience. You'll soon find out that your building might be a college dorm on weekends. There are a lot of students living here (I thought students were too poor to afford $800 in rent) and their friends seem to live with them. We have students below us and to both sides. On weekends the bass has been so intense that our glassware was falling from the shelves. Police had to be called because management does nothing except collect rent. Next, the apartments are well maintained but the maintenance staff is overworked and surly and doesn't care. If something breaks, be prepared to wait. Our toilet was leaky and the clothes dryer left brown grease on our clothes, but nothing was done for weeks. Snow clearing is non-existent, not even the walks are salted. Our downstairs student neighbors use their garage as a party lodge. Again, management does nothing despite the fact that they GRILL in there, just a few feet and a flimsy plywood board away from peoples' cars! Fire marshall was tipped off but what can he do' He's not going to come by at 3 a.m. to issue citations. It's just a screwy situation and there's no fighting it. We could sue, but why waste the money' We will just eat a couple months' rent and move out early. Too bad. Definitely keep looking if you're in the market for an apartment. Oshkosh has way too many apartments to limit yourself to this dump.

They grilled IN their garage? Holy ----! Hope they carry an umbrella policy for when all those cars go up in flames.

We are going to be moving to Oshkosh from out of state what apartments do you recommend, we were thinking of the Havenwood heights but will definately mark it off the list from what you say.
