I have lived here from 2002 until the present. It's a great place, with lovely landscaping and a wonderful view of the Fox River (which is worth the extra rent). Visitors have always been impressed by the place.

Unfortunately, I have found winters to be very cold, with heat leaking out of the fireplace (to be expected, I guess) and the French doors. During the worst days of January, I have had to "insulate" with blankets over the doors...that, or freeze to death in my living room.

Great to have free satellite and internet. All in all, and despite my criticisms about the insulation, I'd recommend this place highly.
