I lived at this complex for two years and while I enjoyed the view I can't say that the complex itself was all that spectacular. Heating costs were outrageous due to shoty insulation, which I felt outweighed the benefits of the view. There were a host of maintaince issues that were prevelant at any given time and the pool area was in a dilapidated state the entire time I rented. The management staff were LESS than helpful on most occasions, although I have since been informed that new mangagement has taken over. Overall I would suggest the perspective renter look elsewhere!

River Place is now under new property managers and an enourmous amount of work has been done. Insulating apartment doors and windows was a priority. Pool has been repaired and staff is more than willing to work and help residents

I live there now and the above concerns are still completely valid. Our first floor apartment has a great view but even though we applied 3M window plastic insulation the windows and doors were sealed so badly that it literally BLEW OFF twice. We finally got tired of re sealing and just left it. The heating costs were rediculous for a 1000 sq ft apartment. The pool/ hot tub area was also shut down early last summer and the hot tub was only functional about 50% of the time. We will NOT be staying.

Good thing you left when you did... the pool didn't work until the middle of June and as far as I know the hot tub still isn't up & working. I thought they were under new property managers?!?!
