Very Dissatisfied

I had a previous experience living at Hidden Oaks and couldn't have been happier. I moved out though, thinking I would be satisfied somewhere else, where rent might be cheaper. When I moved, I realized I was also leaving the quality of Hidden Oaks. I decided to move back, but what a mistake that turned out to be. I have come back to an apartment that seems like no one does upkeep. I am not expecting perfection, after all, I am living in an apartment with countless other people, but I am still trying to figure out what I am paying almost $900 a month for. At one point, there was a spilled bag of taco bell on the floor in the hallway for a full week. Yes, I understand that we, as adults, need to be respectful and clean up after ourselves, unfortunately some people don't do that, but that's what we are paying rent for isn't it. Also, I think there needs to be more done as far as repercussions for not cleaning up after our pets. I have a dog, but make sure he's cleaned up after. Somehow this needs to be emphasized to all tenants. The recent snowfall has also left me frustrated. It took until 2:00 to have the parking lot plowed. I couldn't make it to work because my car was stuck in the lot while I tried to get out of the garage. This was 10:00, the snow had been planned for weeks, unfortunately our office and management wasn't as prepared as the weather forecasters. As for the office staff, they put on a good show when you are making plans to move in, but once they have you signed in the lease, it seems like their true colors come out. I always feel like I am bothering them when I have to stop in the office for routine things, such as picking up mail. Isn't their job taking care of tenants. My final complaint is the fact that the fitness area and pool now have secured access. As I think this is a good idea, I don't see how we as residents should have to pay to use the facilities that were included in our rent. I mean, I can see charging if we lose the pass, but not for the first one. It just seems like things are getting out of hand. I just feel like I am being overcharged and the quality of the apartments is vastly declining. I am almost afraid to bring people over in fear of what they'll see on the way to my apartment.
