I have lived at HO for a couple of years now and have had the fortune or misfortune of living in two different buildings. The first building was immaculately cared for - as much a one could expect for a building with 32 different apartments in it. The people were friendly and the management well, they did thier job. Some times the harshness was overdone but other times the compassions was good.

I now live in another building and the residents are like a completely different culture. Slobs is a very nice way of stating it. People leave garbage on the ground, drop stuff in the hallways and leave it for someone else to clean up. It was a mess when I moved in but then things shaped up. Things happened and there are new people taking care of the building. Needless to say the way the building is cared for isn't what I would call satisfactory or acceptable for the amount of money I am paying.

The bottom line is how the tennents handle the changes. If you sit passively and allow things to happen and so nothing but get angry and don't do anything about it. NOTHING HAPPENS!! Stop sitting on your butt and do something. Respectfully state your concerns, and then keep doing it until there is change.

Overall I have to say I like living here and have had my fair share of ups and downs but I would have to rate the cleanliness lower than adequate on this second building. It can change if people "RESPECTFULLY' state their concerns. There is no need to become agressive or spitefull just forward in your concerns. The office staff seems to genuinely want what is best for each building but I have seen where there are inconsistancies. I have to attribute that to the way that people in that building handle themselves. As the good Lord stated. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Two wrongs don't make a right and it just isn't worth the stress.

I like HO and want to continue to live here and I am sure that as in anything changes will insue. Roll with the punches and if you don't like it speak up but use your manners and you will receive that in return.
