I lived in Riverplace apartments for 1.5 years before moving out this past December. I provided the mandatory 30 day written notice (actually, I gave Diane several written notices, just so it would be clear)...six months later I'm living in Alaska and I've been receiving nasty, rude messages from DIANE (the landlady) regarding the tenants who lived there after me. She leaves me voicemails saying "I'm not sure if I have the right person, but *insert long, nasty, private message here*. I called her back to notify her of her mistake several times and also to let her know how unprofessional and rude she was being in leaving private messages for her tenants on a voicemail that she is unsure belongs to them. Diane hung up on me four times in a row the last time I called to tell her she'd left me a message in error again. Before cutting me off (like a naughty child!), she whined to me about how she'd had a very long day because "my" apartment wasn't evacuated on time. Apparently she hadn't understood any of my previous messages about how I haven't lived in her establishment in 6 months. I referred her to her files for written proof of the end of my contract, and she hung up on me again. Diane is a rude and disrespectful landlord. Avoid living under her management no matter how nice the complex seems. ALSO...if anyone knows how to contact the owner of these apartments, Diane's boss, please let me know because I would like to file a formal complaint.

Also, prior to the angry answering machine messages that didn't apply to me, Diane left nasty notes taped to my door whenever she needed to communicate something simple to her tenants. I got up for work one morning to find a letter telling me to "get my squatting car out of her parking lot immediately because it's illegal to leave my car like that and she will be notifying the authorities". I didn't know what the heck she was talking about, and so I went outside to find that one of my tires had gone flat overnight. Thanks for the heads-up Diane.
