Shocked she hasn't been fired yet!

The place was sufficient, but the office manager is either insane, knowingly dishonest, or both! My roommate and I were very studious, quiet, non-drinking, rent-paying (always on time) UWRF students. When we first looked at the place there were handles missing on a closet, no toilet paper roller, bent blinds, and some other minor issues. We noted these things prior to moving in and the office manager said, "Oh yeah, those will be taken care of". They did give us a toilet paper roller, but never fixed the other items. Then when we moved out, she withheld much of our deposit, citing the bent blinds and other damage that we mentioned at the outset!! We were naive and trusting in the beginning, and did not think to photograph the condition prior to moving in/after moving out.
If you move here, be wise and document everything. Take pictures, put issues in writing and keep copies of everything. This may seem like a pain, but when she tries to screw you over you will be thankful to have proof that she is straight-up lying.
One note about the classiness (or cleanliness)of your potential neighbors: a friend and I were sitting out on our balcony and noticed a girl about 6-years-old sneaking around by the building next door. We thought she was hiding from her friends until she pulled down her pants and POOPED on the landscape rock in broad daylight.
