I would like to start by addressing those who have rated this place well. The only building I have seen kept clean is the apartment manager building. They have all new machines in their laundry room also. My building is as follows: Old machines that shift all over the floor with a washing machine plug that shorts and sparks on occasion, stacked up insulation packets that reek and are constricting the main entry way and have been there for over 5 months with no given explanation, the walls are usually loaded with bugs and flies, and almost every corner and right where the ceiling meets the wall has some sort of spider's nest with eggs. The smoke detector malfunctions about once every 6 months where it never shuts off and you have to call the fire department to get it taken care of because the management doesn't respond to their pager or to the messages left on their machine. Management does not let you know when they enter YOUR apartment and on occasion leaves your door UNLOCKED. Whenever you ask about something that needs to get taken care of, you are made to look like the bad person because you expect liveable conditions. During the summer, the dumpsters in the parking garage sat overflowing for almost 3 weeks to where you could have filled up two more dumpsters than what was provided because of how high the stacks became. The parking garage is not locked and often the doors where vehicles enter are left proped open for days at a time. There is very little storage available; you get a shelf about 4 feet long and about 4 feet high. I could go on for hours, but I think what is here speaks for itself. I would and will gladly pay more rent at another location just to get away from this place.

it really isnt that bad. I used to live in a flat in shorewood that is worse. The complaints that i have are: I want a dog but they said that i couldn't have pets, buty i see cats ans some dogs. and The pool table is getting old and needs to be replaced as well as the pool sticks.

I agree wholeheartedly with the original poster's comments. We pay our rent every month on time and are made to look bad when we expect what we pay for - it's ridiculous.

i agree completely. this place is sooo dirty! we just moved out but im sure we will be charged to replace carpet and blinds.. even though when we moved in they were disgusting to begin with.
