I lived at Anchor several years ago and I agree that it was shady! Rent terms were ridiculous - we were required to pre-pay for 4 months prior to moving in. After we complained to the Stevens Point Housing Authority about building conditions (because we were getting no response from management) we were left nasty phone messages and letters "encouraging" us to sublet. Very sketchy deductions from our security deposit - charged for Xmas tree needles in the common hallway - we moved out in August and we didn't have a Xmas tree. A very bad experience.

If you didn't agree with the rent terms from the start, why did you move in? Sounds like you were the problem.

They're the "problem" because management was useless and charged them for ridiculous things? hmmmmm....... why would you side with a landlord that would treat it's renters so poorly? Unless you are in fact affiliated with Anchor....
