Our lease expired in June, but we had a bad roommate so myself and the good roommate moved out in February. After NOT notifying the landlord, two days after we moved out she had changed the locks on us. We did not have everything out and what she did was HIGHLY illegal! Our landlord also claimed that I did not pay my rent, even after I showed her a copy of my bank statement, and a copy of the check she signed and cashed. We did not get any of our security deposit back because she kept all of it for "damages" even though the place was spotless when we left. It also took her 2 and a half months to get our security deposit back, and by law you only have 20 days. Horrible landlord, noisy dogs next door...look someplace else :)
