ive lived here for a few years at michigan terrace the sister site to the village both are right next to eachother i have a few buddies that live there. I live in a 2 bedroom. That is about 810 sq ft plenty of room to accomidate my needs. When i first moved in the carpet looked like it was 15 years old covered with beer stains very gross i went down to the office and on my 2nd trip there the next day i talked to the maneger she told me she would replace it right away and was very understanding of my complaint and maintenance came there that friday and replaced all the flooring lookess great. ive talked to my neighbors here and there and a few had the same problem i had. I asked them if they talked to the maneger about the carpet and they said that they just put it on there move in report that it was nasty. i told them to talk to the maneger i forget her name they did and thier carpet wad replaced within a week. Parking isnt the worst if you use your garage most people here get a little pissed about it when they have to walk more then 50 feet. Sure when people have there friends over in congests the parking a little but hey everyone wants to have a good time. Rent is about average for how close you are to the school. For kids like me that cant afford to drive every day it works great. When i moved in the builings looked real run down but they just resided the building so it looks must better now. Neighbos for the most part keep to themselves and yes there are those loud party nights when you just want to get to bed it sucks you cant here every day talking through the walls but when people are load you can hear it plain as day. Its not the best place to live but it is convienant . When i first moved in to now its changed alot they remodeled my buddies place a few months ago and it looks much btter then the 70s look they had before. Yeah i guess that the place looks old thats because it is. its not a palace but its what i can afford.
