I don't even live here, and I really don't like the company that owns this place.
I just filled out and application to rent a 2 bed room that was really nice looking and offered everything I was looking for. Then the application part kicks in.
First if you are living alone, then you need to make 3x the amount of the rent and if you are living with someone else then it has to be 6x the rent. WTF'''
Oh they take your $100 dollars from you to do a background check, then they check to make sure that you are making this "out of this world" income for an apartment.
I cleared all the background, cleared rental history and references, but came up $260 short of making the 3x rent. So no apartment for me. Funny I would be paying less for rent at this place then my current place, but since they are now my financial adviser, they know what is best for me and my money.
And once you get your aplication in, they tell you 24-48 hours, but took over a week to hear from them. And I had to call THEM to find out what was going on.
So if you want to live here, then make the big bucks and good luck trying to get a hold of the property manager too, she is never around half the time anyway.
Piss poor if you ask me. Just out to screw you over even when you don't live there.

Me and my husband had the same experience however we came up $58 short of making 6x the rent. At 38 years of age we had to get a co-signer even though we had owned a house prior and have awesome credit. How insulting!
