Honestly, besides the loads of children that live around in these apartments, we didn't have much of a problem until a family of like, 400 people moved in UPSTAIRS. Ever since then, we've been having the worst time living here. It sounds like the kids are ALWAYS wrestling around or playing BASKETBALL all through out the place. We ALWAYS here screaming and crying and yelling. We've went upstairs several times to ask if they can keep it down and a KID ALWAYS answers the door, NEVER one of the parents. Very frustrating. We've finally succumbed to talking to the landlord, but from the looks of what others have said about the landlord, it seems like we're going to be listening to this for the rest of our lease. Maybe the cops can help....... hmmm..
ALSO, like everyone has said, MAINTENANCE SUUUCCKKSS!!!!!!! TWICE NOW we've had water leak from the ceiling in our bathroom, which is apparently right below THEIR bathroom. Gross! The first time, it leaked for maybe 3-5 minutes and stopped. We weren't entirely sure wtf had happened but we informed maintenance about it and all they did was replace the lights that had been shorted out due to the water. The 2ND time was WAY WORSE, there was literally a WATERFALL coming out of the light fixture AND the bathroom FAN!!!! It went on like that for at least ten minutes if not more, so we called the emergency maintenance, they had someone there right away but by then it had pretty much turned to a dribble and the guy says to us "Well, it's finished leaking, there's nothing we can do now, seems the toilet upstairs overflowed, we'll send a cleaning crew here to clean up the bathroom for you." REALLY' WOW, THANKS SO MUCH! HOW KIND OF YOU! They sent the cleaning crew here 2 DAYS AFTER IT HAD HAPPENED!! The water had DRENCHED the WHOLE counter space, the floor, the toilet, the walls with TOILET WATER FROM THE PEOPLE UPSTAIRS!! We weren't going to just wait for a fricken "cleaning crew" to come clean our bathroom. That was our ONLY bathroom and they expected us to just wait until the cleaning crew came. Ugh, I was so ticked off. This place OBVIOUSLY does NOT care about it's tenants and THAT my friends is why this place is the Ghetto of Sun Prairie. I know it LOOKS like a good place because it's cheap and they have financial "help" for certain people that apply but DON'T LIVE HERE, IT'S NOT WORTH IT, I SWEAR!!
