Beware!!! They are nice to you when you live there and then they steal your money in the end.

I would say live there if you dont want to get your security deposit back in the end. I have never had an apartment complex screw me like this place did. They charged me for things that I wrote down on the move in sheet. They didnt properly fix things and then the charged me for it in the end. I am not one to complain and this is my first review ever on apartments because most of the time I have no problems and stay happy and I get most of my deposit back. This is just a warning. When you move out with goldleaf development they will empty your security deposit. I lived in that place for 2 years and never missed a rent payment and never caused a problem. Hopefully if you look at this review you will make the right choice and not rent with goldleaf development.
Specifics that they took money out of my security deposit(so watch for these because they probably will try to get you as well):
-a broken screen door that was never fixed correctly from the beginning and I had it wrote on the move in sheet
-stuff in garbage disposal when the staff was the last one to use it because I asked them to fix it because it was broken.
-4 hours of cleaning to clean a studio apartment when my wife and I did most of the cleaning.
Just a few things for you to look for. Hopefully you dont stay there but if you do watch out for the management in the end. All I did was move because I get a new job and they drained my security deposit. So if you like money, STAY AWAY FROM GOLDLEAF DEVELOPMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so sorry to hear that the same thing happened to you. I have so many neighbors and friends who have rented with Gold Leaf Development and had problems. It is just ridiculous. We should all get together and sue them for all the $$ and distress!
