Looks can be deceiving

We moved here from the west coast, and rented the apartment over the phone without ever looking at it. When we got here the young man in the office was very nice but he left soon after we moved it. The walls are thin, it sounds like a herd of elephants running through the hallway at all hours of the night. It seemed like they did not have any guidelines on who could live there. It is a secure building but they disabled the side door on hours and we got woke up all hours of the night because people would buzz whoever and they would continue to do it until you went downstairs to let them in. Looks can deceive because the apartments look nice but they are put I think a toddler put them together. Our sink faucette broke twice, the pantry door fell on my face when I opened it, the closet doors in the living room were not functional, our heater/AC broke, the handle to turn the water on in the shower broke, our washer/dryer we paid $35 dollars a month for took half the day to dry cloths, we opened my toddler sons door one day and it came off the hinges. I am sure there is more I just can't remember it all. Stephanie was a great manager, very kind and nice but she went on maternity leave and they hired the ----- named Katrina. We moved out and cleaned the whole place top to bottom and we just got a letter saying we owe them another $300 on top of our security deposit. They are a rip off and not very safe and secure. Our car got broken into the first month we lived there. Be aware that the rent is only $750 (2nd floor), but it is $35 a month for the washer and dryer,$15 per month for each animal, and when we lived there we had to have charter through them which was $40 a month. It came out to $855.00 each month. (If you have children the playground equipment is dirty and broken with trash all around it).
