I've lived here for over 6 1/2 years. The complex is in a very quiet part of town, surrounded by middle class homes. When I first moved in, it was under new ownership, and they were really trying to make a good impression. They've gotten lazy and it's gone downhill slightly since then. I started paying $530 a month but that's gone up to $560 over the years. I read a couple reviews and most of them mentioned the office manager. They've gone through a few office managers and most of them have been idiots. It's a shame that the landlord isn't here to see that the office managers he hires are usually bad, but he has a half-way decent one working there now. There's two basic maintenance people; the owner's son who does not live here, and a woman who lives onsight, they are both very nice and helpful. My roof leaked this past winter during the evening and they fixed it the next morning. I don't get much noice from the neighbors I've had, the walls are pretty thick for an apartment. I get alot of noise from the outside though when the lawn crew is here or the dogs are barking in one of the near-by homes. They use single-pane windows which don't block much noise and let in the cold in the winter. I think they are getting lax on the quality of people they rent to. Lately there's been some tenants with loud cars and stereos and some shifty-looking people moving in. The washers are old and dirty and the dryers barely work. I'm lucky if my clothes are dry in the 1 hour that $1 buys. That's my building, I can't speak for the other 4 buildings in the complex. Heat and water are included, which is nice. A storage unit in the basement also comes free. The apartments are small, but it was great as my first apartment. I've outgrown it.

Addition to my initial review: Two days after moving out, I got a call from Walter, the landlord. He accused me of giving the office staff the wrong key and swore up and down that the key that I gave them didn??????t work to my apartment. We argued on the phone for 20 minutes as he accused me of buying a new doorknob for my apartment (that looked just like all the others in the building) and switching it out, so only I would have the key to it. He threatened to charge me a $200 replacement fee (a bit excessive for a doorknob) I wanted to see this with my own eyes, so I volunteered to meet him there, which is a two hour drive from my new place. 20 minutes into my trip, his son, Robert called me on my cell phone; he had gotten the door open and claimed it was a busted pin in the lock that was causing all the master keys not to work. Apparently they NEVER tried the key that I gave them, the key that was made for that knob. His son apologized, But Walter didn??????t have the balls or decency to call and apologize. What an ass.
