I lived in homestead for a year and found it to be one of the best apartments I have lived in.
The apartments are very spacious- I stayed in a 2 bedroom and it was about 1400 sq ft.
One bad thing is the lack of amenities- no pool and no fitness center.
But the spacious apartments and scenic grounds made up for it.
Covered car parking was a luxury and the management was pretty helpful.
You can hear your neighbours occassionally but it was not a big problem.
