I have now lived in the landing for 4 months and am pretty disappointed. The walls are PAPER thin. I can hear people playing ping pong downstairs at 11 o'clock at night and my upstairs neighbor walking around or playing music. The office staff have very limited hours and even when they are supposedly open, no one is there. Furthermore, they are very intrusive and go through your mail. They called a doctor who sent me mail and told him that he did not have my apartment number on the mailing. The best part was that they didn't even tell him the appropriate number, just told him not to send mail until he had my apartment number correct. i don't think the office should tamper with residents mail whatsoever. The apartments are marginal. The carpet in my apartment was stained when I moved in and the walls have some kind of popcorn finish that is disgusting. If you are sensitive to smoke, you won't want to live here as many residents smoke and the hallways always reek of the smoke. I wouldn't recommend moving here.

I have lived here since August... and I have had a few of these problems, but they seemed to have corrected a lot of them. There is not a scent of smoke, and one should know that if you rent a room above the game room, you are probably going to hear it being used. You should look at the room before you rent it, and if you don't like it, don't take it. There are apartments on the other side of the street. The mail problem has been fixed, and we have a designated mail carrier now. As far as the office attendants being available... they do tend to always be out of the office which is frustrating.
