From the day I filled out my application to move in, I have felt welcome at Mountain Village. I've lived in other apartment complexes but I've never felt like they were "home." This is a nice area, too, and that makes me feel good about living here.
I work downtown and it's only 5 minutes to the freeway. I thought about moving downtown to be closer to work, but my rent is reasonable and my apartment is great. (Lots of closets.) The river is right across the street and my fiance and I like walking along the parkway or we walk down Main Street and check out what's new in the art galleries. (He's an art major.) In the summer, downtown Waukesha has "Friday Night Live," and there's free live entertainment all over town. Sweet.

I live on the third floor and my balcony faces the city. It's an awesome view, especially in the fall. I don't know what that person was talking about who wrote that people should "choose not to live here." I've been here for three years. The ladies in the office and the handymen are great. Choose TO live here!!! You won't find any place better!
