I've had better, but still a good choice

The parking is ample, there's outside parking and I was amazing to see that everyone gets their own inside parking spot. The outside spots are convenient for friends and family to park in. The noise level hasn't gotten out of hand. The walls can seem thin when walking down the hallways, but inside the apartment I've only heard the mysterious occasional thud from upstairs. The grounds look great, no complaints. That's primarily why I chose the place. I have no safety complaints. Construction of the building is a bit dated in the apartments. The lobby, elevator looks great. The apartment can have a cheap 70's feel at times. For instance, the baseboards are laminate and institutional tan. It's not a big deal, but looking at the outside, why would they skimp on the inside' Also there is no central heat/AC. Instead you get the AC unit and Heaters in your apartment, which is fine with me, it seems common in this area. I have no complaints on maintenance. The office staff seem more than eager to get you looking at the available apartments and get that first check from you. The apartments otherwise look nice on the inside, expect big mirrored closet doors, dishwasher. The price seems a little high personally, but after checking around it seems to be about average for the area. Plus my apartment has a nice downtown view, through the trees(for the winter months at least). The fitness center sounds like another nice incentive, until you actually see it (good for a laugh). $300 deposit, HEAT/WATER included, fitness center access($50 deposit), garage parking free. I did not have a Washer and Dryer, but I guess some units do. I kind of like getting the chance to use the elevator to wash clothes anyway.
