I'm the regional property manager for Woodfield Heights Apartments. The posting that the property is experiencing high vacants is simply not true. I would like to apologize to the internet users that rely on these postings for choosing their apartment community. This posting and others were posted by disgruntled employees and do not accurately depict the quality of the property.

Woodfield Heights is one of the best quality apartment communtities in the area for the price. The property offers very spacious 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, fitness center, tanning salon, free garage parking, and pets welcome, all for a very affordable price.

If your looking for a great deal, please come and check us out. I'm sure you will be very pleasantly surprised.

Lived here?

obviously you don't live here. If you did you'd want to move too. Yes the apartments are spacious and there is a nice fitness center and tanning bed. But I've lived here for a long time and have seen it all. From the drug dealers next door to having my car broken into twice my truck ransacked countless times and my now my new van keyed. Good luck to anyone trying to get vehicle insurance and park on the property. I will say things we really nice for a while but now we're back to square one again. Honestly I'm afraid to park let alone walk through my garage or the urine filled hallways. Our lease is up in December and as much as we do not want to relocate our family - my kids aren't safe here anymore. what happened? We went trick or treating with our kids here last year and were all looking forward to the office halloween party. where are our newsletters? and friendly staff ready to help at the drop of a hat? as far as the value for your money, I've been looking and honestly - you may get what you pay for, but an extra $20 a month is a worth while price to pay when you factor in my stress level and insurance premiums and cost to repair damage done to my vehicles. I've been through this cycle of great for a little while then over night turned into a criminals drug haven. You are the one to talk to right? If I had a way to contact you I would and I would tell everyone I could how they could voice their opinion to someone other than the man in the office who says he's fixing things when he's not. It's really too bad we as a community have to go through this over and over just because the location fits our lifestyle.

Please see my original post dated 5/31/07. I am certainly not an employee, and I never have been. The manager is rude. The manager is a liar. The manager is incompetant. The manager is also very lucky I did not file in court for discrimination of the disabled. Such court action naming the property, the on-site manager, and any companies owning the property or having any ownership in the property would not be very good for business, now would it? Perhaps this should be kept in mind during future dealings with decent people being promised a place to live. I'm not sure what credentials any of the employees have, but respect for others is generally taught in pre-school. Also, your 'pets welcome for an affordable price' statement is lacking in truth. An unreasonable fee per pet is charged not only for an initial deposit, but also per month every month. A proper statement would be something more to the effect of: Pets welcome only if you are willing to have large amounts of money extorted from you in return.
