Nice Building, Many Management Changes

The buildings knwon as Woodfield Heights have taken on many changes since they were under different property mangement and known as Park Place Apartments. The grounds have been kept in nice condition and the manintenance staff is extremely courteous and knowledgable. Cleaning staff has seen many problems however. I hear that they are debating getting someone new to work here, at least on cleaning out vacated apartments, whom I personally know from a work relationship in the past and know that she would do a wonderful job. However, with the new management change this building has encountered I don't know if that work relationship will have a chance to flourish.

The managment from Mid 2005 to the end of the year was extremely respectful and always "on the ball". They had made it their responsibility of sorting out any problems with tenants they were currently having difficulties with, in respect to their relationships with other tenants.

Recently, there has been a new management change. Which is not uncommon. The new management seems extremely friendly, however I have been told from employees through Woodfield Heights are extremely difficult to work for. I hope and pray that they realize that the tenants who pay on time, report problems and address manners directly to the management instead of taking issues in their own hands are the tenants that keep this property in business and provide it with an image that Equity Property Managment(the current property management association) enjoys.

The space is extremely livable and electric bills average between $40-$80 month depending upon time of year and whether you have an interior or corner unit.

Throughout my years of renting I have yet to see a maintenance team that works as hard as that of Woodfield Heights, however cleaning crews need some work. Hallways will go up to 2 weeks without being vacuumed for example.

Overall, quite satisfied and see Woodfield Heights moving in a good direction. Would definately reccomend, however would warn prospective tenants about frequent management changes.
