Did I hear on my police scanner that our illustrious manager (Becky) was highly intoxicated at the local waffle house' Of course I did! This might explain why she's rarely in the office before noon! I've been reading all of the reviews and it's quite obvious that Becky herself is behind the positive postings. Although they appear to be coming from several different people it's obvious from the elementary writing skill level thay all came from the same source. This apartment complex survives due to the commitment of the maintenance staff...and certainly not due to office management!

How dare you put ANYBODYS personal biz out their for everyone to view.I was one of the good reviews and NO-ONE put me up to anything!!! I simply stated what was true!!If becky isnt in the office thats none of your concern-as we all know there are other things she is responsible for that takes her away from the office THAT IS part of her job.I am so upset by all this bashing going on and that you are so intent on ruining someone and a good community simply because you are not a happy person. I am sure that if upper management finds out who is responsible for all these problems that steps will be taken-personally I do not understand why you still live here if you are so unhappy -do us all a favor and MOVE OUT- we want our peaceful community back!!!! First off ladies........"MS. SMARTY PANTS" stands corrected on her typo. Secondly........the key word here being "public" suggests that it is everyone's business. If she had gotten intoxicated in her own home that would be her personal business but she didn't. She was out in public which makes it everyone's business. Furthermore, I didn't pour the booze down her throat, nor did I make her go out in public and create a situation that required law enforcement........these are choices she made. If I had that kind of control over people I could have them jumping through hoops. You give me to much credit for being powerful. Let me also say that I've learned more about her personal life after reading these two responses than I knew before.

Move out of here if you are so unhappy with the management. Why stay here if you don't like anything that they do? Make your self happy and find another place to live. I just want to say Becky is a wonderful person and both the ladies do the best job in the office and I am very happy here and feel safe to live in this community.I just want to say to you is hope you can find a better place to live and find a better office management, because I love my office management and maintenance staff. I just want to say if anybody who is looking for a great place to live. The Cottages is the place for you.

I live in Minnesota & would like to move to Martinsburg to be closer to my daughter. I'd be happy to have the apartment this unhappy person has so please MOVE OUT and perhaps I will have a better chance of finding a place to live. I do not drink, however, my friends and family do and I certainly don't go around putting their business out there just because they may have a few one night and say or do something that causes a disturbance. Property management is NOT an easy job and sitting at a desk all morning would be a luxury for any property manager - so don't expect that YOUR property manager will be at her/his desk all morning or afternoon because there are MANY other tasks they have to perform. People like you, the unhappy tenant make me sick. Just MOVE out...I need your apartment and probably many others before me need it. I am not afraid to post my name or my damn internet address!!! Good for you Bldg 73 tenant for sticking up for what is right and not being afraid to say it. Carole Furness-White
