When I viewed the apartment before renting it was disgusting! Every wall, floor, etc was covered in dirt, food, dirty hand prints and who knows what else. I mentioned this to the landlord and he said that he would have it cleaned the next day. I viewed the apartment a few days later and the only thing that had been cleaned was the blades on the ceiling fan! I needed the apartment, so I had to get down on my hands and knees and clean every inch of this apartment! The washer & dryer that we have barely fit in the wash room. We could not get our queen bed up the stairs b/c the box springs wouldn't fit around the narrow stairs. Cold air constantly comes in the seams of the doors and windows b/c they are old and not fitted properly. Just check out other apartments in town before you rent from Eastgate!
