I chose this apartment because when I got accepted to school, almost everything else was already taken. I lived here for 2 years because I didn't feel like moving, but I don't recommend it. There is never enough visitor parking and if you park anywhere else, you will get towed. There is extremely poor sound insulation. I could hear my upstairs neighbors all the time. The two biggest problems I had were an insect problem and no sunlight. I sprayed all the along the floorboards of the entire apartment and still got centipedes. Also, I didn't know when I signed the lease that my apartment is back to back with another one, and I get absolutely no sunlight at any time of day. I hear the newer buildings are nicer, but pricey. Maintenance was great and they always fixed any problem within a day. The bedrooms are huge with plenty of closet space. Beware of the one-bedrooms, as some of them (like mine) don't have a separate kitchen. It's just a kitchen that runs along one wall of the living room and looks really weird. Make sure you see your place before you lease!!! Don't just let them show you a "representative" apartment like they did for me. In short, if you have to live here, then it's acceptable but only as a last resort.
