Worst living conditions I've ever experienced

My apartment at the District has been home to a ton of problems. From not being able to move in to apartment on the move in date (due to a plumbing issue)and then finding broken glass under our couch and a window that wouldn't close upon moving in, plus many problems since, its been never ending. Other issues have been having a dryer that didn't correspond with the outlet that was installed, not being able to use two bathrooms in our 3 bedroom apartment for a week to ten days, not having electricity in one bedroom and bathroom for a week, a damaged tile kitchen floor, water leaking from the shelving in the laundry closet, and an already rusting railing on our balcony. This doesn't even include all the issues that have been ongoing, such as things like the basketball court and jogging trail not being done until recently, and the final paving of the roads that caused us to have to park far from our building and walk home on foot. We've also had issues with our cable going out and didn't have running water for a day in november (yeah, another plumbing issue). They basically just threw this apartment complex together quickly and it shows. Parkcrest Builders, a company out of Houston, built it and its owned by a group called Ambling. I plan on trying to avoid any complexes involved with either of these companies in the future and suggest you do the same. You'll avoid a lot of headaches and hey, maybe you'll get to live in a place with living conditions that are in line with the ones described in your lease! Good luck and hope this helps people out.
