We had mold and mushrooms growing in our apartment and it took the threat of a law suit, the county health department and all of our medical bills to get them to do something about it. Also required several phone calls from parents and residents telling them what to do. Eventually the carpet was pulled back(revealing months of roots for the mushrooms in it) the padding was replaced and the carpet cleaned. The source was a leaking pipe behind the shower of one of my roommates and they fixed the pipe so there is no more leak and no more mold in the carpet but then there is problem of the dry wall which there is most definetly mold growing and which they lied to us about fixing several times and it took another threat to get them to test the wall(in which they tested the mold resistant paint they put on the baseboard, not actually inside the wall). We are still working on that one. All four of us have what is called mold induced asthma, which basicly means we cough so much we have asthma attacks.

All in all, don't live here, its a hassle and the maintenance sucks. Its not worth the money(especially since the rent is going up)
