When we rented this apartment it was sight unseen, seemed like a decent enough deal since it was the only place we could find that allowed dogs. I corresponded several times with the property manager to make sure the apartment would be ready when we showed up. We actually started paying rent a week earlier than we moved in to ensure we d get the apartment. When we arrived the manager was on the property yet it took over 30 minutes for her to meet us. Once we finally got our keys they didn t work and we had to call her back to property again.
We filled out a checklist for items needing to be fixed; the maintenance man came to review them in our presence saying wow, I don t even think I got a chance to look at this apartment and said he d fix everything asap. That was nearly 8 weeks ago and we are still waiting.
There are receptacles for dog waste throughout the property and when I emailed to complain that these were overflowing the property manager responded by saying her staff would get frostbite if they emptied these because of the subzero temperatures.
People park like idiots, in spaces that don t exists and leave their broken down vehicles in the lot for weeks on end.
Overall the building is quiet, but it s clear management has no motivation to maintain the property or enforce the rules that we as tenants agree to.
