The people in the office are incompetent, and not friendly at all. One of the office attendants a girl with longer hair, young, takes her smoke break in front of the park where our children play. Very VERY unprofessional, and disgusting to some who purposely live in a no-smoking facility. The gym is very small, only 4 machines and overrun by kids all 9 and under. The park is a fun place but when I take my child out I am the ONLY PARENT there among 15 or so unsupervised children. The sprinklers in the park area make an absolute lake and you can count on garbage being all over the ground. The parking is TERRIBLE! We live up stairs and have to walk a block with arms full of bags just to get to our place, then up the stairs as well. Our internet is so slow, it feels like dial-up form 1997. Our cable goes out every time it rains. We are from out of town as most people here are, there is no long distance package for the home phone line, so unless all your friends and family is local it will cost a pretty penny to communicate via home phone. A kirby vacuum salesman has been to our door at 9PM, and a man was arrested near our door (undoubtedly high on drugs, or very drunk) after trying to get in our door hours earlier. Police have been here several times arresting tenants or looking for wanted persons. There is a great deal of dangerous looking people here and no security or cameras. They seem to turn NO ONE down here. Our cabinets fake marble is peeling, the wood around the doors just falls right down causing us to have to perform our own maintenance and our carpet was terrible at time of move in. This place is a rip-off. the only reason we chose it was because internet, gym, home phone and cable were included. Like I said, the telephone is useless to us which they did NOT tell us, the internet is very slow, the gym is NOT worth it, and the cable is out 5 days out of a month. BEWARE!!!!!! DO NOT CONSIDER THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE A FAMILY LOOKING FOR QUIET, QUALITY, OR TRUSTWORTHY LANDLORDS!!! YOU WILL BE SORRY!

I have consulted with numerous apartment communities that do not have assigned parking and with people who are acclimated to living in apartments. The general consensus is that if you do not get home early, you will not get a parking place in front of your building and may have to walk. Remington Village does have adequate parking on the property. You just may have to walk a little. Our staff has a designated smoking area in the back of the office building. Our staff does not smoke on the playground as stated. Our property has no smoking buildings and apartments but there is no rule about smoking outside. Regarding the comments about the telephone, it is stated on our literature and the lease that long distance is not included in the rent. To say the cable goes out every time it rains is an exaggeration. I have Bresnan cable at my home and it too has outages on occasion. As the management company, we have no soliciting signs posted and have asked our tenants to let us know if there are solicitors as we can't police everything at all times. We work very closely with the police and have them run their drug dogs through our parking lots and halls. We don't just let anyone in as stated. Everyone that lives here is background checked the same as this individual was. It is hard to control who visits out here and if a person who resides here has issues but has never been arrested or convicted of a crime we can't predict what their behavior will be. Regarding the children in the park, It is unfortunate that the parents do not supervise their children. This is going to force us to put a no unsupervised children at the playground rule in place. It is unfortunate that a few bad parents and kids ruin it for all.
