We have been living in ACRE company apartment on Baker street for two years. Location is good, close to school and staff is friendly and helpful with problems. Apartments themselves are very old and plumbing issues are common. The problems happened when we left the apartment and ACRE took $250 of phony charges from our deposit. They meticulously checked the apartment and charged us for every chips and dirt spots, like they took $60 for cleaning range which has already been cleaned, $35 for missing one key! They even check dirt under refrigerators and the range (costs like $30 each to clean), this is how badly they wanted our deposit money. They seem to be willing to renovate an apartment when someone is leaving at his own expense and put their hands deep into his pocket. I would not be so frustrated if we were not spending so much time cleaning everything and still getting charged the most outrageous fees I have ever had.
