I loved living here (the apartments on Baker).
The rent was afordable and the apartment was HUGE.
While living here I had two maintenance issues.
The first was that my garbage disposal quit working, but they had it fixed by the time I got home from work.
The second was my smoke detector stopped working after I replaced the battery.
On my way to the office to report it I ran into the maintenance man and he just came and installed a brand new one right then and there.
One month I wasn't able to make my rent on time but the landlord was very understanding and let me make arangements to get my rent up to date.
I moved out only because I relocated for a job.
It did take them a few weeks to return my deposit, but in my experience that's pretty typical.
They give you a big long list of things to clean when you move out and then they do what they call a "walk through" with you before you turn in your keys so they can point out what you missed.
I totally missed under the fridge and the oven, but it took me 10 minutes to do that stuff and I got my entire deposit back.

They waved this list of things to be cleaned in front of my face but never gave it to me. Anyway, for $60 they have taken to clean the range I could have get another one. The three persons inspection is a common scam, since all of them are interested party (one is the owner's daughter). By the way, we have also cleaned all the dust underneath the range and refrigerator, but seem to be not that lucky.
