Don't even bother

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2008
We moved into these apartments because everything was included and it seemed like a good deal. WRONG!! There was huge stain on the carpet in the front room when we moved in which we later found to be vomit. The entire apartment smelled of cat urine even though they don't allow pets for fear of ruining their "wonderful" apartments. I can actually hear my neighbors using the bathroom when I am laying in my bed trying to sleep. To top it off if we have neighbors on our south side it is only days until all the drains are plugged up and it is coming up the drain in my laundry room. Actual human waste and toilet paper comes up the drain. When the office is called it takes at least 3 more phone calls for them to actually get the right apartment number and actually write it down and show up only for the exact same thing to happen 3 days later. It is always cold, but the gas and electric are paid so we keep the heat at 80 (to make it 65). The floors and carpets look dirty no matter how many times you mop or steamclean them. You are not allowed to have anything outside of your apartment, soon they will expect everyone park up the street in the bus parking lot. You are not allowed to do anything to make the apartments look better. The windows are drafty. If a repair on the apartment is necessary my boyfriend usually does it himself. There is no exhaust fan in our kitchen and opening a window in there blows out the stove. They have been coming to check the carbon monoxide detector for 3 years now and still haven't. We've had to check it ourselves. The bathroom has no outlet to plug in a blow dryer. One person can a have half a warm bath and a cold bath if you've done the dishes or some laundry that night. The internet they offer is dial up. You have to pay for high speed, which doesn't run as fast as it could since the company won't fix the node that is out since these apartments are always next on the chopping block (and have been for 50 years). There is absolutely no counter space and only enough room for one person in the kitchen at a time. In a two bedroom you have to go through the 2nd bedroom to get to the bathroom. Overall I don't know how the University gets away with renting these apartments. They are in it only for the money it generates and will never fix them up. The paint is chipping off most building in the neighorhood. Do not move here, don't even bother looking into them.
