HIGHLY RECOMMENDED apartment complex!! The management, specifically Dana, has always been extremely helpful with maintenance requests. Never had any noise complaints due to cement construction, generally a quiet, friendly apartment complex. Free parking on-site, nice grill area and good views!

Amazing!
The Highlands have an amazing staff. They are so friendly and helpful. The best apartment I have lived at. The apartments are very nice and spacious, and there is a pool! Free parking, which is rare in Ann Arbor. Absolutely loved living here. Sad toā¦Ā See More >anonymous

First Rate
I've been living in the Highlands for a year. This place is first rate, and the best complex I've seen in the North Campus area. The apartments aren't particularly special (a bit dated in appliances/carpet), and the prices aren't that low. However, staff/maintenance isā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Location, maintenance, staff - all wonderful!
Highlands is a great apartment community for anyone who goes to UofM north campus - which includes the engineering, music and architecture schools. I lived here for my first year in Ann Arbor and the experience was delightful. Their office and maintenance staff is veryā¦Ā See More >jzier

Fantastic for the location
Most apartments around campus, north or central, have very poor maintenance and are very expensive if they are within walking distance to campus. This complex is a very short and safe walk (even at night) to north campus and to the Bursley Baits bus stopā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Great Apartment!
My wife and I lived here for the last 1.5 years and have loved it! The manager and maintenance guys are great! Its a short walk to North Campus or to the Bursley Baits bus line to Central. Highly Recommend!

Great staff, Well built, Great North Campus location, Best place on North
I moved from Northern California to Ann Arbor for Graduate school. My department paid for some of us to visit Michigan, and we toured half a dozen different apartments. My roommate (also moving from out of state) visited again, and saw another dozenā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Believe the hype - this place is the best!
Every review is absolutely correct. Every aspect of the Highlands apartments is WAY above average. Dana, the office manager, is one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet and will stop at nothing to make sure you're happy with your apartment. Bernardā¦Ā See More >marquinos

Simply the best place to be
I lived 3 years at the Highlands as a music grad student and could not have chosen a better place to be. The staff are amazing, hardworking and considerate people. Everything was taken care of in a most professional way. The grounds are wellā¦Ā See More >snoopyatrice

Great apartments, superb staff, excellent grounds!
I first must say that I could not be happier with my experience at the Highlands. I lived here for 2 years, but have been in and out of the complex for many more years before I moved in. The apartments themselves areā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Overall, a Great Experience
I lived at the highlands for two years while I grad student at University of Michigan and the only reason I didn't renew my lease was that I graduated and moved out of the city. The units themselves don't look so new, but the key isā¦Ā See More >hereuntil11

good deal for ann arbor
I moved into a one bedroom last summer based on the rating here. I am at UM for grad school and was skeptical about my first apartment experience. The staff is the main reason I renewed my lease. Coming from the southā¦Ā See More >The Highlands
