This is by far the worst apt I have ever lived in building wise. It's been falling apart since the day I moved in. The staff is always nice and eager to help but getting anything fixed correctly or in a timely manner is near impossible. If it wasn't for the location I wouldn't still be here. They charge a lot of money considering how old and outdated the apts are, all of my appliance are older than I am. When I moved in the apt hadn't been cleaned and I had broken blinds on almost every window (which still haven't been fixed and I have lived there for over 4 years), missing drip pans on the stove and missing light bulbs from the ceiling fans. I have had repeated water leaks on a yearly basis and my ac unit die in the summer and it took 2 months to get a new one...in which time they gave a window unit that maintenance installed incorrectly so water leaked back into the apt...wish i was joking about this level of incompetence but sadly its true. There are still things in my apt that aren't fixed correctly but i figure why bother reporting it when things are never done correctly. They should gut these apt when people move out and overhaul them so there won't be so many maintenance issues all the time. They might also want to insulate them better if only for the noise factor alone...i can hear every move my upstairs neighbors make...and i mean everything...every step taken, every time they turn the shower on and i can even hear their bed springs creaking...yuck. I like the location but hate my apartment...also the complex has no sense of community. None of my neighbors are friendly or talk to each other and they are very inconsiderate of others. Every other apt complex in the area i have lived in had a much more homey feel and friendly welcoming atmosphere. this apt complex has the potential to be so much better than it currently is.
