So I have lived at Newcastle for a year now and have to say that I am pretty pleased with the place. The apartment is nice, my neighbors inside the complex keep to themselves, and the few problems I've had were resolved the very same day. My current rent is $415 and I thought it was a great price when I first moved in, and I still do, but my lease is up in a month and now they have decided they want $500. I live in a one bed, one bath unit that is upstairs and although the aparment is very nice compared to some of the crap other complex's are renting out, I do not think the apartment is worth that much. Just to give a detailed review I will say that I only had to call management on two seperate occasions and both were because of my air conditioner. It was not blowing out cold air so I called the office before work in the morning, left a message and no more than three hours later they called me back and asked if they could go inside to fix it. I came home from work and everything was great. I have to give them a 10 for quick service. The parking is perfect here and the only noise complaints I have are for the neighbors in the house next to the complex. I live in the last building and all that seperates me from the house with 6 outrageously loud dogs is an alley but that isn't a Newcastle problem. So is Newcastle a nice place to live? I say yes but not for $500 for one little room.
